Good round of snow coming Friday Night-Saturday

Summary

Lingering snow showers with a departing storm system are continuing across the Interior on Friday. The next system will arrive Friday evening, bringing the heaviest snow to the Coast Range on Friday night and the heaviest snow to the Interior during the day on Saturday. Saturday morning will offer the best powder turns for Coastal BC, while Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning will offer the best powder turns for the Interior. The main storm track shifts south on Sunday, but a moist and unsettled northwest flow will continue to result in periods of light snow on Sunday and Monday, favoring the North/Central Columbia region the most. High pressure will result in dry conditions from about Tuesday through Thursday of next week (February 18th-20th), with the next storm arriving around the 21st or 22nd.
