Snow favors the Interior on Saturday

Summary

A storm system will continue to bring snow to the Interior throughout the day on Saturday and into Saturday night, with light snow lingering across the Coast Range on Saturday before tapering off by late afternoon. Good storm skiing can be expected all day Saturday across the Interior, while the morning hours will offer the best turns across the Coast Range. An unsettled northwest flow will result in light snow showers on Sunday, mainly across the Interior and Northern BC, which will lead to some nice refreshers. High pressure will then dominate the weather pattern over the upcoming work week, with lingering flurries on Monday giving way to dry conditions from Tuesday through the daytime hours on Friday. The next storm cycle will then arrive next weekend, with Friday night, February 21st through Sunday, February 23rd looking like the best window for snow.
