Deep totals for the Southern Powder Highway

Summary

The Christmas weekend storm delivered for the Southern Powder Highway with impressive snow totals over the past 48 hours at Fernie, Kimberley, Whitewater, and Red Mountain. From Sunday through Wednesday, arctic air will take hold over BC with bitterly cold temperatures and frostbite conditions expected. A weak storm will arrive on Thursday followed by a stronger storm over New Year's weekend.
