Fernie Surprise, Storms Brewing for the Interior Sunday-Wednesday

Summary

Most areas received very light accumulations Wed-Thu, but we had a couple of surprises in the Southern Interior including 14 cm at Whitewater and 20-25 cm at Fernie. Confidence is increasing that 2 storms will impact the Interior, first on Sat night-Mon, and another Mon night-Wed AM. The first storm will bring light snow/rain to the Coast Range but the pattern continues to be less favorable there.
