Relief from the Deep Freeze is Coming…

Summary

Cold holds and resort closures galore across the Alberta Rockies this Tuesday. Closures: Nakiska, Sunshine, and Marmot. Upper lift closures or holds at Lake Louise, Castle Mountain, and Norquay. Tuesday morning’s temps at 8 AM generally ranged from -30C (-22F) to -36C (-33F). Status quo until Friday when a moderation in temps will begin. Significant snow? Christmas into next week has real promise.
