Feathery Snow, Cold Holds… Life in the Arctic Rockies

Summary

Arctic air has arrived across the Rockies Sunday morning with delayed lift openings at most resorts due to frostbite danger. Snow totals over the last 24 hours had 7cm at Norquay and Louise, 5cm at Sunshine, and over 20cm at Castle. Besides isolated flurries (up to 5cm) at Castle, arctic high-pressure will deliver extreme cold and dry conditions over the next several days.
