Light Snowfall this Weekend / Heavier Snowfall Monday/Tuesday

Summary

A West to NW flow aloft brings in clouds and flurries on Friday, with better chances of light accumulations Saturday through Monday as a broad trough moves into the Rockies. Arctic air will likely trigger significant snowfall late Monday through Tuesday as it clashes with incoming Pacific moisture. Frigid temps move in for the midweek period in the wake of the departing storm system.
