Nice Storm Totals / High-Pressure Returns

Summary

A deep trough of low-pressure moving down the BC and US coastlines has been throwing waves of moisture into the Canadian Rockies over the past 3 days. Sunshine and Lake Louise both picked up 30cm, Norquay 23cm, and Nakiska 11cm. Jasper’s Marmot Basin (opening Thurs!) was the real winner with 42cm. A bit of a break begins Tuesday as a ridge slides into the Rockies likely staying through Saturday.
