A Nice Start to the Christmas Weekend

Summary

The much-advertised fast-moving cold front dropped 24-hour snow totals (as of 7 AM Sat) of 15cm at Nakiska, 12cm Castle Mtn, 9cm Sunshine, 6cm Lake Louise, and 4cm at Norquay. Cold air behind the front will make for a chilly Saturday at Alberta ski resorts. A ridge builds in quickly on Saturday bringing a dry forecast through Christmas and Boxing Day. Temps will slowly moderate through the week.
