Extreme Cold - Polar Vortex Dips South
Summary
Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect through Sunday for the Alberta Rockies as an extension of a Polar Vortex pushes south across Western Canada. Many resorts will be closed, but a few will have lower lifts open. If you do venture out, layer, cover up, and take warm breaks, like every run. It’s an Arctic ridge, so clear skies with extreme cold through Monday. Moderations in temps start Tuesday.
