Warming Trend Starts Monday – Snow Returns Wednesday

Summary

Extreme Cold Warnings blanket the Alberta Rockies on Sunday. One more frigid day with numerous resort closures, with the few open resorts opting for delayed openings with limited lower terrain. A ridge begins to build in from our west on Monday bringing slightly more hospitable alpine temps. Warming continues Tuesday before a Pacific storm system enters Tuesday night and lasts through Wednesday.
