Optimum Conditions Abound / Much Colder Air Moves in for Awhile
Summary
It’s been a snowy week with all Alberta resorts picking up between 60 cm (24”) to 100 cm (40”) since last Sunday. Unseasonably cold Arctic air will be the next weather story for the next 5 days. There will be a weak system moving up from the south bringing chances of light accumulations (3 - 10 cm) from Banff south to Castle on Saturday. Otherwise, cold and mostly dry through midweek.
