Light Snowfall Thursday / Arctic Temps for the Weekend

Summary

A moisture-starved Gulf of Alaska shortwave will bring chances of 3 – 10 cm across the Alberta Rockies through Fri AM. As the trough advances through, it will pull an Arctic front into the region, packing the coldest temps we have seen so far this winter, beginning Fri and extending into Mon. Instability on Fri and Fri PM will bring isolated flurries with trace accumulations. Then dry and cold.
