Light Refreshes to Deliver Optimal Weekend Conditions

Summary

A weak disturbance moved in overnight Thurs, dropping trace amounts, with Castle reeling in 15 cm. Our next, slightly stronger Pacific storm system will track into the south Rockies on Fri, with its northern fringe extending as far as Banff and Lake Louise. Periods of snowfall are possible through Sat. 2-day snow totals of 10 – 20 cm are likely at Castle, with 8 – 12 cm at Sunshine and Louise.
