Periods of Showers Throughout the Week

Our latest storm is moving to the east well south of the Alps. This storm track will bring showers to the Chamonix region through Tuesday night. Later in the week, another storm is slated to bring more snow to the Alps.

Short Term Forecast

Monday - Tuesday

Snow showers on Monday will bring 5 - 10 cms throughout the day. Snow levels have climbed a bit and will be around 1200 m.

Check out the latest snow forecast from the European model below.

Wednesday - Thursday

We'll have a break in the action on Wednesday and Thursday, with partly cloudy skies on both days. Temperatures continue to rise midweek and will get over the freezing mark on the lower mountain.

Extended Forecast

In the long-range, additional opportunities for snow will be possible. There isn’t an obvious signal for a strong storm, but overall the storm track will stay active over Western Europe. With no signs of a ridge setting up, there is hope that this active and snowy pattern will continue.
