All eyes are on Colorado for Friday/Saturday for some significant snowfall over 9000 feet

Summary

A low pressure system is going to pass over the southern Rockies late this week initially favoring the San Juan mountains. Southerly and SE winds will keep temps warm through Friday and snow levels above 10,000 feet. Late Friday sees a wind shift to the North or Northeast dropping snow levels to 8-9,000 feet and a push of snowfall into the I-70 Corridor. Models are not in total agreement who sees the highest amounts, but it's possible that some locations near Denver grab significant amounts.
