The Northwest and Coastal BC in the crushing zone with deep snow and colder temps.

Summary

After a terrific storm cycle for many areas of the Rockies, it's game time for the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately, temps warm on Friday with rain below 4500 in the Cascades rising to over 5,000 feet in the evening before dropping to 3000 Feet by Saturday. Interior BC stays cooler with some moderate snow favoring the northern areas. I am currently posting from the Mica Lodge about 3 hours north of Revelstoke where it is snowing. The Cascades are going to stay in a very cold and stormy pattern for the next week if not longer in the extended.
