Summary
10-18 inches will overspread the Sierra in the next 48 hours with generally snow levels around 7,000 feet. Extreme winds are noted in the models on Wednesday night decreasing for lift openings on Thursday. Snow levels trend lower. Deep snow is possible in the southern areas of the Rockies. Northern Utah, Areas of Idaho, and much of Colorado are strong contenders.
