Chase north this week with 2 feet of snow likely for many mountains of the PNW and northern Rockies

Summary

Models continue to advertise significant moisture will hit the Northwest and the northern Rockies this week into Saturday. The period with the best chance for snowfall will occur Friday/Saturday as a cold front moves through. Flip-flopping snow levels in the Northwest will bring rain to bases at times on Thursday or early Friday. The Tetons continue to reap light snow each day this week, perhaps turning to moderate snow late in the short term forecast. EPIC ALERT: Erie PA just broke Pennsylvania records for 60 inches of snowfall within a 2 day period! Who would like that to hit their ski area right now?!
