Heavy snow along the east coast brings chases to Maine and New Hampshire (6-10) with the west on tap for some wildcard chases in the San Juans, Tetons, and perhaps the Wasatch?

Summary

Significant snow will fall along the New England coast with blizzard conditions, 18 foot seas and an opportunity to chase 5-10 inches in Maine and New Hampshire. The Western models are not in agreement for the Saturday/Sunday storm with my best guess of 4-8 inches favoring western sections of Colorado including the northern San Juans, perhaps the Cottonwoods in Utah, and the Tetons in Wyoming. Next week should bring a chance for more significant snow in the Sierra of California and a wide area of Colorado favoring the Four Corners (where they really need it!). Arizona and New Mexico should finally see snow by the middle of next week.
