Storm ends, trip report #1 from the south, and a dry-ish forecast

Summary

On Tuesday, the midwestern storm pushed snow showers over the northern mountains and snow totals were 1-4 inches. Coming up, we'll see mostly dry weather through early January with (maybe) light snow around December 31 and January 3. Storms are then possible around Jan 5 and Jan 8, but details are uncertain. Also, I included a trip report from the southern mountains.
