Northeast mountains receive 5-9 inches of snow, much less elsewhere

Summary

Winter returned on Friday night as most mountains received a dusting to 3 inches of snow, and the northeastern mountains saw an upside surprise with 5-9 inches. The next storm should deliver 1-4 inches of snow on Saturday night, with more upside potential over the northeastern mountains. After that, a strong storm will deliver 5-10+ inches of snow from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
