Daily Forecasts Begin November 23, 2020

Summary

I will begin to write daily updates on Monday, November 23rd, one week before the scheduled opening day of Monday, November 30th.

Update

Happy autumn!

Or actually, happy almost winter:-)

Our new interactive snowfall map shows that a few inches fell on Sunday, October 11th.

At Copper, the storm dropped about 3-4 inches across the upper part of the mountain. It's fun to see the peaks covered in flakes!

Here's the schedule coming up:

  • November 23rd: Daily posts begin here on the Copper Daily Snow
  • November 30th: Scheduled opening day

The forecast for the rest of October looks to be mostly dry, though maybe we'll get lucky and a few flakes will return to the northern mountains. And hopefully, the weather pattern will change with plentiful snow starting in early November and continuing through April!

Until November 13th, keep an eye on our Copper Mountain 10-day outlook and our 3-day hourly forecast to track storms heading toward the mountain.

Thanks for reading!
