Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Friday freshies at Copper
Summary
Snow fell from late Thursday to early Friday and there should be 3+ inches to enjoy on Friday morning.
Short Term Forecast
Thursday was mostly dry, then the snow started to fall late in the afternoon. The mid-mountain snow stake cam shows that 3 inches accumulated on Thursday night and this should make for some fun turns on the groomers now on Friday morning. Dress warmly as temperatures will be in the teens and low 20s throughout the day.
On Friday, Friday night, and Saturday, we could see additional snow showers but I am expecting accumulations to be on the light side.
On Sunday through Monday midday, we will see dry weather and high temperatures in the upper 20s to mid-30s.
Then the next storm will bring snow from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. We could see snow totals of 2-4 inches by Tuesday morning, so keep your eye on Tuesday as a possible midweek powder morning.
Extended Forecast
All longer-range models show a high likelihood for cool weather and additional chances for snow through late April. Right now, it looks like the highest chances for storms will be around April 22 and April 27, though keep in mind that the mountain closes on the 25th.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
