Tuesday morning powder at Copper

Summary

There are 4-6 inches of fluffy powder to enjoy on Tuesday morning. It’s a late-season gift!

Short Term Forecast

Tuesday morning is a powder day with 4-6 inches of fluffy snow. The snow stake shows 4 inches yet the official report is 6 inches, and sometimes the snow stake does under-count the actual snowfall. All of this snow fell on Monday night and will be fresh to enjoy on Tuesday morning. I thought 3-6 inches was a reasonable forecast and the atmosphere delivered in just that range. I hope that you enjoy it!

Following Tuesday’s dry yet chilly weather (temperatures will start in the single digits and rise into the low 20s), we’ll see chances for light-to-moderate snow from Tuesday night through Friday night. Total accumulations during this time could be 3-6+ inches. I have low confidence in this forecast, and if it all comes together, snow conditions could stay soft and fresh through the end of the week with the best conditions maybe on Thursday and Friday.

Extended Forecast

Looking ahead to closing weekend, Saturday should be mostly dry with temperatures in the 30s, and Sunday should be a gorgeous closing day with sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
