Snow showers on Tuesday

Summary

Winter will hang on for one more day with some snow on Tuesday midday, afternoon, and evening.

Update

Monday was a mixed day with snow showers as well as some breaks of dry weather and a bit of sunshine. We added 2 inches to the mid-mountain snow stake during the day which brings our storm total to 2-3 inches from Sunday night to Monday afternoon. Not a big storm of course, but we'll take the refresh!

On Tuesday, temperatures will be chilly with highs in the teens, and there will be snow showers from late morning through the late evening which could deliver anything from a dusting to a few inches of new snow.

From Wednesday to Sunday, we'll see dry and mostly sunny weather with warming temperatures each day. The highs on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday should be in the 30s, and highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the 40s. This weekend will feel like full-on spring skiing.

For next week, Monday, March 28 should be another warm day with highs in the 40s. Then we will likely see snow at some point on or after Tuesday, March 29, but I have zero confidence about when we could see snow or how much. All of the longer-range forecast models are in disagreement, so there's no use speculating about the details. When there is more consistency in the forecast for later next week, I'll let you know.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
