Another round of snow on Thursday night
Summary
Thursday will be dry, on Thursday night snow will fall, then we'll enjoy soft turns and clearing skies on Friday.
Update
On Wednesday, we saw snow showers with about 2 inches of accumulation, and soft/fun conditions thanks to the snow from Tuesday night.
Now on Thursday, skies are clear and we'll enjoy mostly sunny weather during most of the day with a high temperature in the 30s.
On Thursday night, a fast-moving storm should drop 1-4 inches of snow just in time for the first chair on Friday morning. The wind direction from the west is not that favorable for us, so I do not think there will be much of an upside surprise.
On Friday and Saturday, the weather will be dry with partly-to-mostly sunny skies. The temperature on Friday will be in the 20s, and on Saturday, the temperature will rise into the upper 30s to low 40s.
Then we will have two more storms to talk about.
The first storm could be Sunday into Monday. There is good snowfall potential for this storm, but also there is high uncertainty. The storm could mostly miss us to the south, or a band of snow could set up over the mountain and deliver significant totals. Hopefully, we will be able to figure out the forecast by Friday or early Saturday.
I have higher certainty about the second storm, which should bring snow from Tuesday into Wednesday. This storm will favor the mountains of northern Colorado, and we might be able to achieve back-to-back powder days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
