More storms on the way

Summary

The current storm is mostly over, though there will be more chances for snow on Thursday night and again starting on Sunday.

Update

Tuesday brought 1-2 inches of snow during the day, then as expected, we saw more intense snow on Tuesday evening with 4 inches accumulating across the mountain.

Now on Wednesday morning, there will be untouched powder from Tuesday night's snowfall so it should be a fun morning. Weatherwise on Wednesday, we'll see a mix of clouds, snow showers (we've already seen 1 inch of accumulation between 500am-700am), and maybe some breaks of sunshine.

Thursday will be sunny and dry with a high temperature in the 30s.

Our next chance for snow will be on Thursday night when a storm should deliver 1-3 inches just in time for Friday morning's first chair. The wind direction from the west is not the best for us, but the jet stream overhead is favorable. With competing factors, I am playing the forecast safe with a somewhat wide range. Hopefully, we will wind up on the higher side with a bit of a refresh for Friday morning.

Looking ahead, Saturday will be dry, sunny, and warm with a high temperature in the 30s to low 40s.

Then our next chances for snow will be from Sunday into Monday and again on Tuesday. I have low confidence in the details of these systems, but Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be days to watch for potential powder.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
