Snow Tuesday into Wednesday

Summary

Spring is out and winter is back with snow and possible powder back in the forecast.

Update

Monday was the final warm and dry day, then on Monday night, the weather took a turn toward winter with a few snowflakes in the air, but the snow stake didn't show any meaningful accumulation on Tuesday morning.

Through Tuesday mid-afternoon, we could see some showers with low accumulations. Then from Tuesday mid-afternoon through Wednesday mid-morning, a favorable wind from the northwest should deliver the steadiest snow of the storm. And from Wednesday mid-morning through Wednesday evening, there should be more snow showers, but I have lower confidence in significant snow accumulations. Storm total snowfall should be in the 5-10 inch range, and we could go over 10 inches as the favorable northwest wind can bring an upside surprise. I think the softest and deepest riding should be from Wednesday morning into Wednesday midday.

Following the storm, we'll see dry weather from Wednesday night through Thursday night, then the next storm will bring snow from Thursday night through Friday. This storm will have a wind from the west, which is not that favorable for Copper, so I think 1-3 inches of snow is a reasonable forecast with the softest turns on Friday morning through Friday midday.

After that, Saturday and Sunday should be dry and warm with high temperatures in the 30s, then we could see a storm around Monday, April 4 to Tuesday, April 5.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
