Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Powder
Summary
Tuesday was a fun powder day and we'll see snow showers hang on through the rest of the week.
Update
Tuesday's forecast for intense snow in the morning came through with about 5 inches falling a mid-mountain by midday. That was on top of the 1 inch that accumulated on Monday night, so the storm total was about 6 inches.
On Tuesday night, the snowfall relaxed though some snowflakes were still in the air.
And now on Wednesday morning, some snowflakes remain in the air, and temperatures are cold with a reading of about 5°F up on the mountain.
On Wednesday, expect more snow showers, with the best chance of more intense showers and accumulating snowfall during the afternoon and evening. We could see 1-5 inches on Wednesday afternoon and evening, which could set up Thursday morning as a fun time to find additional soft turns.
On Thursday and Friday, we'll see a mix of snow showers, periods of dry weather, mostly cloudy skies, and maybe a few rays of sunshine. Temperatures on both days will be warmer, with a high in the 20s on Thursday and in the 30s on Friday. These warmer temperatures could degrade the snow quality, so get after the powder early on Thursday if you can.
Saturday will be a mixed day with dry and partly sunny weather in the morning with temperatures in the 30s, then gusty winds, more clouds, and some snow later on Saturday into Saturday night. We could see 1-3 inches of new snow on Saturday night, and then Sunday will be mostly dry with partly sunny skies and a high in the 30s.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
