Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Close but not quite?
Summary
Two storms this week will bring snow to Colorado, but we'll be on the northern edge of both systems.
Update
Sunday was mostly sunny with a comfortable high temperature between the mid-20s to the mid-30s. It was another wonderful (non-powder day) to be on the hill:-).
Monday morning at dawn also has clear skies, though we'll see more clouds later in the day and the high temperature will be around 30 degrees.
From Monday evening through Wednesday evening, two storms will bring snow to Colorado. Both systems will track near or south of Colorado, and the deepest snow will fall to our south.
That said, there are two chances for snow here at Copper.
For the first chance of snow from Monday evening through Tuesday morning, a surge of moisture associated with this storm could bring us a few inches of snow. Sometimes surges of moisture result in more snow than expected, but their exact location is difficult to accurately forecast, so I have low confidence in this outlook. Keep your eye on the snow stake cam to see if there will be a bit of powder for Tuesday morning.
For the second chance of snow from Tuesday midday through Wednesday evening, the storm will not track in a favorable way for us, though we still could see some accumulating snow on Tuesday and Tuesday evening, so there could be some soft snow by Tuesday afternoon and/or Wednesday during the day. On the backside of this storm, we might see just a bit more snow on Wednesday night, so conditions on some runs could be soft again on Thursday morning.
Following the two storms this week, we'll see dry weather from Thursday, February 16 to Saturday, February 18.
Then from about Sunday, February 19 to about Monday, February 27, all longer-range forecast data continues to show multiple storms moving through the western U.S. and the Rockies, and this should translate into multiple chances for snow here in Colorado.
