Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Fresh snow will return to Copper this weekend, and Sunday looks to be the snowier day of the weekend, though I'm not quite sure that we'll see enough snow to call it a full-on powder day. After a dry and warm day on Friday, clouds and wind will increase on Saturday, then we'll see snow Saturday night and it will continue off-and-on through the day on Sunday. My forecast is for 3-6 inches, and I have less confidence than usual in these numbers. If things don't go our way and the storm drops a little further south, we'll only see a couple of inches. If we get a heavy snow band on Saturday night and a northwest wind on Sunday, six inches is very likely. Time will tell (this uncertainty is the 'fun' of weather and skiing, right?!). Beyond Sunday, next Monday through Wednesday looks generally dry, with another chance for a storm around Thursday the 18th.
