Quick snow on Thursday morning, then a warmer storm
Summary
Wednesday will be dry, we'll see a little snow by Thursday morning, then a warmer storm will bring snow on Friday and Saturday.
Update
Tuesday was dry and partly sunny with a comfortable high temperature in the 20s to low 30s.
Wednesday will be similar to Tuesday with dry weather, partly sunny skies, and comfortable high temperatures in the 20s to low 30s. The snow stake on Wednesday morning is dry, though that should change by Thursday morning.
Wednesday Night into Thursday morning is when we will see a fast-moving storm bring 1-4 inches of snow, and the latest forecasts are holding with no significant changes. The timing of this storm means that there should be low-end powder for Thursday morning's first chair. The storm will have decently strong energy, so there could be a chance for a bit of a high-side surprise, and we'll watch the snow stake cam and hope for the best.
Thursday: There will be some fresh snow in the morning, then the rest of the day will be dry with partly sunny skies and a cooler high temperature in the teens.
Friday to Monday: A storm with a lot of moisture and warm air will bring snow from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon, and then we'll see less snow with maybe just a few showers on Sunday into Monday.
On Friday and Saturday, the high amount of moisture and an OK wind direction from the west (ish) could deliver 6-12 inches of snow, but the big caveat is that temperatures will be warm and the snow quality will likely be thicker and denser due to the warm temperatures. Slightly cooler air will arrive later on Saturday and through Monday, so the snow quality could be fluffier on Saturday night, Sunday, Sunday night, and Monday, but I do not think we will see a lot of snow during this time with just a few snow showers around.
Next week: We will likely see drier weather early in the week from Monday through Tuesday, then there could be yet another storm with a lot of moisture and warmer temperatures sometime between March 15-17. And beyond that, another storm is possible around March 20-22.
