Soft-ish snow on Monday morning

Summary

The latest storm delivered 2 inches of snow on Sunday night with a total of 4 inches during the past two days. We'll take the flakes! And the next storm should bring snow starting on Thursday night.

Update

Following the 2 inches of snow that fell on Saturday night, most of Sunday was dry, and then another round of snow showers on Sunday night delivered 2 inches at mid-mountain.

Now on Monday, snow conditions on the limited open terrain should be soft-ish thanks to this new snow, and also, snow showers could continue through the day as moisture wrapping around the storm to our east should keep some snowflakes falling over the northern mountains of Colorado.

Copper might be a little far to the west to see the most snow, but perhaps we'll eke out a coating to a few fluffy inches with some luck. Temperatures on Monday will be chilly with readings in the high teens to low 20s during the day.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we'll see dry weather with temperatures topping out in the 30s each day, and there will be more sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday and more clouds on Thursday.

The next storm should bring snow from Thursday night through Friday night. Like the current storm, this next one does not appear to be a significant snow producer, with an early snowfall estimate in the 3-6 inch range. That said, there is some higher-end potential if the storm tracks in just the right way, and also, we'll take any flakes that we can get with hopefully a little more terrain opening due to the new snow.

Following the storm from November 24-25, the longer-range forecast does not look favorable for significant storms through the first few days of December. I wish I had better news! The longer-range forecast often does change, so keep checking back as we search for storms:-)
