Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Tuesday was a bummer as the snow in southern Colorado did not push far enough north to get to Copper. I figured we would see at least a few flakes and some accumulation, but this didn't happen. Oh well ... despite the increases in accuracy of modern weather forecasting, there are still some surprises (both bad and good).

The rest of the week will be mostly sunny and dry, so put on your sunblock and don't overdress as high temperatures will be in the upper 20s to low 30s on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Then it looks like we'll see a quick burst of snow on Friday night into Saturday morning with a few inches of accumulation if we're lucky, so conditions on Saturday morning could be enjoyable with a bit of fresh snow coating the groomers. The weather will be drier Saturday midday through Sunday, then we could see on-and-off snow showers from Sunday evening through Wednesday. Right now I would expect low accumulations during this time as the storm track stays just to our north, but I'm sure I will be tweaking the forecast, so stay tuned.
