Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Light snow will fall today on Tuesday, though I believe accumulations will be light, only about 1-3 inches. The center of Tuesday's storm will be near the four corners of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico, and this position pushes winds from the southwest, south, southeast, and east toward Copper. The best wind for Copper is from the northwest, which we will not see today. So despite plenty of moisture hanging around (a good thing), a bad wind direction should keep snow totals on the lower side.

Looking ahead, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday should be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. Then a few flurries or light snow showers are possible on Saturday, Sunday, and next Monday. Snow accumulations during these days should be light. A stronger storm is possible around next Tuesday and Wednesday (January 20-21st).
