Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Friday will be dry with times of on-and-off cloud cover and high temperatures in the mid 30s. Snow showers will occur between about midnight Friday night and noon on Saturday, and accumulations could be a coating to an inch (most likely), up to 2-3 inches if we get a little lucky and the storm's energy pushes a bit further south toward Copper. No matter what the storm's track turns out to be, Saturday morning should offer a bit of snow to refresh the groomers, though not enough for a powder day.
After a dry end to the day on Saturday, and dry weather continuing through Saturday night, we'll see times of light snow from Sunday through Tuesday. This is an ambiguous forecast because Copper will be right on the edge of the storm track that is setting up to our north. During this three-day stretch, we could see little snow, or we could see totals over six inches, with snow perhaps lasting into Wednesday as well. Stay tuned as I try to figure this out. The second half of next week looks dry, with potentially stormier weather for the last part of January.
