Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

The snow stake shows that 2-3 inches of new snow fell just before 5am on Saturday, so get out there and enjoy a few inches during first tracks. For the rest of Saturday, look for partly to mostly sunny skies and winds that decrease somewhat through the day. Saturday night into Sunday morning should be dry, then we might see a few flurries or snow showers on Sunday through Monday, though accumulations should be very low or zero. Monday night is our next chance for a heavier burst of snow, and another few inches could accumulate, which would make for soft first tracks on Tuesday. Then Tuesday through next Friday will be dry, but there is a slight chance for a bit of light snow on Wednesday. The weather pattern will shift just a hair starting around Saturday, January 24th, and between this day and the end of January there will be a few chances for storms. It's too soon to know if the brunt of these storms will just miss us to the east or will make a direct hit on Copper. Stay tuned.
