Sunday started with about 3 inches of new snow, and we saw an additional 2 inches on Sunday and Sunday night. 

Monday should be fun with soft conditions due to the snow during the past 48 hours. Dress warmly as temperatures will stay in the single digits and teens all day and skies will be mostly cloudy.

From Monday night through Tuesday night, some moisture and storm energy will rotate back into Colorado from a storm in the midwest, and we will likely see periods of light snow, clouds, and chilly temperatures in the single digits and teens. Snow accumulations should be light, just a coating to maybe a few inches, if that.

From Wednesday through Sunday, we'll be on a warming trend with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the 20s each day.

Our next chances for snow will be (1) around New Year's, though my expectations are low, and (2) sometime during the first 7-10 days of 2024. For the early 2024 period, the longer-range forecast models show chances for storms around the Rockies, but it's too soon to know if these storms will bring significant snowfall. Let's hope for the best!
