Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Despite these warm temperatures, and despite an overall weather pattern that is not favorable for snow in the Rocky Mountains, I do see multiple chances for snow at Copper over the next 10 days as a few storms sneak into the state.

The first storm should bring a few inches of accumulation on Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Then after a dry day on Thursday, there could be a few flurries on Friday, with heavier snow showers on Saturday and Saturday night, likely dropping at least a few inches, and potentially offering more than 6 inches. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning might offer some powder, but this storm is still very hard to forecast, so stay tuned for more details. Following this system, Sunday will be dry, and then another storm is possible during the middle of the following week, around February 3-4.
