Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Look for more clouds and snow showers as we move through the day on Wednesday, lasting into Wednesday night. Accumulations will likely be only a couple of inches at best, and if luck isn't on our side we might only be able to eke out a coating of new snow from this weak system.

Thursday and most of Friday should be dry, then the next chance for snow will be on Saturday and Saturday night when there will be a squeeze play between a storm to our south and one to our north. This is a recipe for a very tough forecast, and I could see Copper getting skunked with nearly no snow if the southern storm stays too far south, or we could measure 6+ inches Saturday afternoon and evening if the storms phase just right. Stay tuned on this one ... Saturday last chair or Sunday first chair could be powdery if things work out. Looking further ahead, there is a good chance of snow and colder around around Tuesday-Wednesday, February 3-4.
