Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Friday will be a mostly cloudy day with perhaps a flurry or snow shower, especially later in the day. On Friday night there is a bit of a better chance for a snow shower with perhaps an inch or two of accumulation. There is a ton of moisture in the air, which means there could be a decent amount of snow. But with the storm far to our southwest, I'm reluctant to bump up snow amounts very much.

Saturday is a more interesting day as we retain the moisture AND get the wind to blow from a favorable direction by midday and the afternoon (from the west and northwest). Chances are better on Saturday compared to Friday night for a few inches of snow, especially on Saturday afternoon. Then the skies will clear out on Saturday night and Sunday before we see on-and-off snow showers return from Sunday night through the following Thursday. Hard to know if there will be enough snow next week for a powder day, but keep an eye on it and I'll keep you updated.
