New snow Monday morning & Wednesday to Thursday

Summary

We saw snow on Sunday and Sunday night, which will create a refresh on Monday morning. Then another storm should bring a refresh on Wednesday into Thursday.

Update

Sunday

Sunday delivered light snow during the day, and then a period of steadier snow fell on Sunday evening resulting in 4 inches at mid-mountain.

Monday

Monday morning will offer the untouched snow that fell on Sunday night, and the weather on Monday will be mostly sunny and warm with a daytime high of around 30°F.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with snow showers. I am unsure if the steadier snow showers will miss us to the north or if we will see periods of steadier snow with some accumulation. The high temperature will be around 30°F.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be another mixed day with some dry weather and some snow. The latest forecast data is trending toward steadier snow on Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night, so perhaps there will be a bit of a refresh by Wednesday's last chair. The high temperature on Wednesday will be around 30°F.

Thursday

Thursday morning will be the best chance for powder this week with the potential for 2-5+ inches of new snow falling on Wednesday night. I think clouds and a few snow showers will hang around for a lot of the day on Thursday, and the high temperature will be cooler, around 20°F.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (February 23-25) should be dry. Friday will be sunnier with a high temperature around 20°F, and Saturday and Sunday will be cloudier with a high temperature around 30°F.

The Next Storm

I am confident that a strong storm will move through Colorado between Monday, February 26, and Wednesday, February 28. One or multiple of these days should be powder days, and we should be able to figure out more details during the coming days.

My next update will be Tuesday morning.
