Friday (Mar 7)

On Friday morning, the snow will be soft, thanks to the 1 inch that accumulated on Thursday and the 2-3 inches that accumulated on Thursday night.

On Friday, there could be snow showers lingering during the morning, then the snow should wind down with drier weather on Friday afternoon. The high temperature on Friday will be in the upper teens to low 20s.

On Friday night, another round of snow will spread over the mountains near and just east of the continental divide. Copper could see some flakes and a bit of accumulation from this part of the storm.

Coming Up

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (March 8-10) will be dry, with a high temperature in the 20s on Saturday and in the 30s to low 40s on Sunday and Monday.

On Tuesday and Wednesday (March 11-12), a storm will likely track to the south of Colorado and may bring only light snow or perhaps even no snow. The high temperature will be in the 30s on both days.

From Thursday afternoon/evening to Saturday or Sunday (March 13-16), a stronger and colder storm could drop enough snow for powder days on Friday and Saturday, with soft snow maybe on Sunday as well.

And then, toward mid-March, the fifth storm of the month could deliver snow around Tuesday to Thursday, March 18-20.
