Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

Saturday was warm with lots of sunshine and high temperatures between about 50-55F on the mountain. Sunday and Monday should be nearly as warm and there could be a few more high clouds dimming the sunshine at times.

A weak wave of energy will move across Colorado on Monday night and this could spark a few rain and snow showers, but any accumulation should be light.

Then, after clouds increase on Wednesday, we should see snow from Wednesday night through Friday morning. My initial estimate is 3-6 inches with the softest turns occurring on Friday morning, though there is still a lot of uncertainty in the forecast, and snow amounts could be higher.

Following that system, we should see dry weather from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, then the next storm should bring snow from late Saturday night through early the following week (March 27-28, ish). Active weather will continue through early March, so don’t put away those powder skis just yet!
