Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

It’s a powder morning at Copper on Wednesday! We had 8 inches since Monday night, with 5 of those inches falling on Tuesday and another inch on Tuesday night. You should find plenty of soft, fresh turns on Wednesday morning, and the snow quality will be best before the sun warms up the snow and turns it into heavier, thicker powder. The sun angle in early April is high, so it’s a race against the sun this morning. I hope you win the race!

Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday will also be dry and sunny with warming temperatures, then clouds will increase on Saturday with snow showers starting late in the afternoon or Saturday evening. I think we’ll see snow through Sunday and into Monday morning, but the track of this storm is not as favorable as the previous storm, so I am keeping my expectations in check and think that a forecast of 3-6 inches is reasonable, with the softest snow on Sunday.

After that system, most of next week looks drier and warmer leading up to closing weekend on April 15-16.
