Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update
Good Wednesday morning!
The first piece of good news is that the temperature was colder on Tuesday night compared to Monday night, with mid-mountain readings down to about 20F. The colder temperature will help snowmaking efforts.
The second piece of good news is that, after dry weather on Wednesday and Thursday, we'll see snow on Friday and Friday night.
Expect gusty winds and a few inches of snow throughout the day on Friday. Then we'll see a few hours of intense snowfall sometime between late Friday afternoon and Friday evening (3pm-9pm or so), and then a few more inches of snow should fall on Friday night, with the snow ending by sunrise on Saturday morning.
Storm total snowfall should be in the 6-12 inch range.
If you're looking to ski fresh snow on the couple of open trails currently offered, I'd say Friday afternoon is a good time, but Saturday morning will be a better time (if all of the fresh snow is not yet groomed). On Saturday morning, dress warmly as temperatures will be around 10F, and with the sun coming out plus light winds, it'll be a crisp winter-like morning!
Last, if you are driving on Friday afternoon, you might find very low visibility and some road closures between about 3 pm and 9 pm when the heaviest snow moves through.
Following this storm, we'll likely return to drier weather through Thanksgiving with a low chance for snow on Tuesday, November 21st. Temperatures should be cold enough for snowmaking at night during this period.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for an updated forecast!
