Update

Good Wednesday morning!

The good news is that temperatures are cooler than they were around Thanksgiving weekend, temperatures will stay cool for the next few days, and we have a storm coming up between December 3-5 which could bring 4-8 inches of snow.

The bad news is that between now and December 3 we will not see any natural snow, and after December 6th, we may trend back toward a dry weather pattern through mid-December. As Copper's snow report update said today, "Do a dance, put a trail map in the freezer or wear your PJs inside out – whatever your ritual is to make it snow!"

Thankfully, Copper is at a high elevation (the base is 9,700ft), so the mountain is in a good position to get cooler temperatures and be able to make snow. Snowmaking crews are doing their best, and 14 trails are open, but of course, we want those other 129 trails to open soon as well!

Stay tuned for daily updates, and thanks for reading!
