Update

On Monday morning, the snow report from mid-mountain indicates that 3 inches of snow fell on Sunday night, and the snow stake webcam shows perhaps a bit more than this. Light snow continues to fall as the sun rises now at 7 am on Monday, and temperatures at mid-mountain are a chilly 10 degrees. If you like to ski fresh snow, today is your day as we'll likely see the snow showers continue on-and-off through the day. Also, dress warmly as temperatures will not move much higher than the mid-teens.

Beyond today, the good news is that the rest of the week will be chilly and snowmaking should be able to go 24/7 through at least Thursday. Also, we may see light snow showers on Wednesday and Thursday.

The bad news is that I do not see any significant snow storms during at least the next 10-15 days. This is a major bummer as it would only take two or three good storms to open a lot more terrain, but I do not see that happening through at least December 15-20th.

I will be watching closely for any sign of our next storm and for a change in the general weather pattern, so stay tuned for daily updates!
