Update

Good Wednesday morning to you. As of 7 am, the temperature is 4 degrees at mid-mountain. Yup, it's chilly, and that's good for snowmaking. We'll take the wins when we get them!

You'll see clouds this morning, and the clouds may stick around through Thursday night. There could be a few flurries Wednesday and Wednesday night, then we will have a better chance for a bit of accumulating snow on Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening. My estimate is just 1-2 inches, but maybe we'll do a bit better than that. If we do get more snow, then Friday morning should offer soft turns.

After that, from Friday, December 8 through Friday, December 15, expect mostly sunny weather during the days with temperatures in the low 30s, and readings that are cool enough for snowmaking at night. This might allow for a bit more terrain to open, though we'll need a few significant storms to open a lot more terrain.

The dry weather pattern will begin to adjust during December 15-20 and there will be a better chance for storms between about December 20-30th. I am keeping a close eye on the long-range outlook and will let you know when I see a reasonable chance for our next significant storm, so stay tuned for daily updates!
